It is raining. And it is Grand Prix Weekend.
It has been an eventful week so far. Yesterday I saw the cardiologist and he did some tests and they came back fine. He also is sending me to Hotel Dieu Hospital next week for another test. I don’t know what it is but the referral came in the mail today. UGH I have to be up there at 7 am on the 14th.
Which means navigating the city at the crack of dawn and on the sheet it says that the test may take 4 to 7 hours. God help me.
As for the drama that fell on Tuesday … I have word today that we will be receiving financial assistance so things are looking up. The solution was just up around the bend.
Tonight we headed out for St. Matthias for the meeting, since our home group was closed tonight due to the church using the hall this evening.
The speaker was good. He had serious time. And a sound message.
However in the end, I did not gather words to write about it because I only had eyes for our celebrant this evening of four years sobriety.
Our good woman has been through an ordeal with her health. Almost facing certain death due to liver disease – on her last breaths came news that a donor had been located – who had come to the end of their life journey – was able to give the gift of life.
There was not a dry eye in the house. We are all so proud of her.
We took caravan home, a good night was had by all.
More to come, stay tuned…
